The Department of Humanities and Science at Government Polytechnic Panaji has been active since the institute’s inception in 1963. It includes five key disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Communication Skills and Business Communication. The department aims to build a strong foundation in Basic Sciences essential for understanding core engineering subjects. Along with well-equipped Physics and Chemistry laboratories, the department also features a Digital Language Laboratory to support communication skills development. This comprehensive approach ensures students are well-prepared for their technical education and professional careers.
