In the modern high tech corporate world, office has come to occupy the central & an important place in every organization. For efficient administration of modern office, services of trained office personnel are in great demand.
The institute of Government Polytechnic Panaji started a Diploma Programme in Stenography & Private Secretarial Practice in the year 1971. In the year 1997, it was modified to a 3 year Diploma in Modern Office Practice. This is a non engineering diploma program. Admission to this course is done on the basis of 10th standard marks of the admission seekers. The program is now modified to Modern Office Management.
