Electronics Engineering Department
Electronics Engineering Department is one of the pioneering departments established in 1976, with the approval of AICTE. It thrives to bring out well qualified diploma holders to cater to needs of industries in Goa, neighbouring states and abroad. Our students are well placed in various industries such as Siemens, D-Link, Cipla, Syngenta and many others through campus interviews or interviews at industrial sites.
Our Department has well qualified and experienced teaching as well as non-teaching staff, who are sincere, dedicated, as well as hardworking and committed to impart technical knowledge and skills to the students in order to mould them as prospective Engineers.
Under the able guidance of our Principal and his full cooperation as well as constructive support of our staff, Electronics Department is progressing to fulfill the aspiration of our society. Our library is also well equipped with complete literature necessary to run our programme.
Basic Laboratory: This gives the students laboratory experience in courses like Basic Electronics, Basic Engineering skills and consumer electronics. The lab is well equipped with Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Power supplies, basic device board..Project work of students is also conducted in this Lab.
Applied Laboratory: The students study perform various practical of subjects like Electronic Circuits, Linear integrated Circuits, digital Electronics and study various applications of these subjects by using various electronic circuits such as Rectifiers, Oscillators, Amplifiers, Digital ICs, Operational amplifiers, which are designed and tested by the students. The students also design and test various components or modules of their projects. The lab is well equipped with Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Power supplies, Various Kits of above subjects. Project work of students is also conducted in this Lab.
Computer Lab: This lab now is well equipped with PCs with the internet connection, to facilitate practicals of subjects like “C” programming, CADD, Microcontrollers, PLC, Autonomous Robot. This lab is also well equipped with PLC kits, 8051 microcontroller kits and Arduiono boards with interfacing sensors
Power Laboratory: This caters to the need of the students in Electronic Instrumentation, Power Electronics, Industrial Electronics and Electronics Measurements. It is used to demonstrate concepts LVDT, Resistive, Inductive and Capacitive Transducers, Speed and Level Measurement with the help of kits. It also has thyristor kits to demonstrate various power electronics concepts.
Communication Laboratory : Various communication subject practicals are conducted in this lab, like Communication Engg, data Communications , digital communication and circuits and networks. This lab is well equipped with Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Power supplies, and various communication kit.
