Training & Placement Department

The functions of the section are as follows:

1. Liaison with Industries both in Goa as well as outside Goa for the purpose of training of students to upgrade their technical knowledge and skill through industrial field visits, in-plant trainings as per curriculum guidelines.

2. Co-ordinate training programmes for teaching and non teaching staff of the institute in order to upgrade their technical knowledge and skills through workshops, guest lectures etc.

3. Conduct campus interview for final year and passed out students for placement as Apprentice/ Contract/Regular in various industries.

4. Co-ordinate the activity of engagement of Apprentice Trainees in the institute under "Goa Chief Minister's Apprenticeship Policy for Government Establishment-2023".
