Store Section

The Stores section basically handles all processes of Stock Management. This includes; Floating Tenders/e-tenders based on requirement from various department, arranging opening of quotations, preparing statement of verification of quotation/ tender, sending quotations /tenders for technical scrutiny, Preparing comparative Statements and process for approval by principal, obtaining an approval of the Technical Department as O.C. of the study order works order in respect of specification, Preparing supply work order as approved in the comparative statement, Procurement of credit/cash purchase including PHFT perishable items, Processing the bills for payment. The section also arranges for repair of stores like vehicle Machinery/equipment furniture etc. and procurement of uniforms/ Rain wear etc. to staff.

The Inventory updates and Dead stock register entries including all other maintenance register updates are also managed by the Stores section as part of the record keeping. The various committees meetings, stock verification, condemnation, Advisory, etc are conducted as per the requirement of the Institute.
