Establishment

The Principal, declared as Head of the Department under Rule 2 (g) of the Goa Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 2008, functions as the overall Controlling Authority in academic, establishment, administrative, and policy matters. The Deputy Registrar, a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer of the Goa Civil Service, heads the Establishment Section in service and administrative matters, acting as a subordinate authority to the Principal. On recommendations of the Principal and Directorate of Technical Education, and with Government approval, the Deputy Registrar oversees recruitment, promotions, transfers, pay fixation, financial upgradations, increments, retirement benefits, service litigations, and related claims. Duties also include implementation of Government policies, ensuring discipline under CCS Rules, and managing institute vehicles, including buses and light motor vehicles.
