ACCOUNTS SECTION

Accounts Section of Government Polytechnic Panaji is functioning as the Accounts Office of the Institute which deals with financial matter as per the accounting procedure and in consultation with the Directorate of Accounts. This Section incurs expenditure on different aspect under Demand No 37 Government Polytechnic Panaji (Revenue & Capital) under Budget Head (2071, 2203, 4202) for smooth functioning of this Institute. Government Polytechnic, Panaji Assistant Accounts Officer as the Head of the Accounts Section with the Accounts team carry out dual function i.e. salary bills, contingent bills, student fees, maintenance of PBR, cash book, Personal Ledger Account etc. The Primary function of Accounts Section is recording, managing and reporting the financial transaction of the Institute.
