FOOD TECHNOLOGY

Vision: - “To develop skilled, competent, dedicated FoodTechnologists and entrepreneurs through quality education to meet the needs of the Food Processing Industry”.

Mission: -

1. To offer value added quality education, excellentacademic and industrial training in the field of FoodProcessing, Food Preservation and Food Safety

2. To develop Food Technologist with innovative,entrepreneurial, self-reliant, ethical and competitiveskills.

3. To update latest development in the field of FoodTechnology through Industry institute interaction

4. To develop skills in Food Analysis and QualityAssurance as per the Food Safety Act.

Laboratory Details:

  1. Chemistry Lab: Practicals related to Chemical analysis of foods are conducted in this laboratory.
  2. Microbiology Laboratory: Microbiological analysis of foods and basic biochemistry practicals are conducted.
  3. Processing Lab 1 and 2: Different food products are processed in this laboratory.
